Keiro Directors dress like Pretty Ladies for a Fantastic Cause!
Last Thursday, Boda Gallon entered the Keiro office with a gleam in his eye, a bag from the economy retailer Primark under his muscular arm and an uncharacteristic lightness to his step. Tomorrow was to be the big day!
Partner organisation Fabrick Housing Group had invited Keiro to participate in a fundraising event, an exercise boot camp in aid of the Bubble Foundation - an organisation based in the Great North Children’s Hospital at the Royal Victoria Infirmary in Newcastle. The Bubble Foundation works to save the lives of children born without an immune system (You can learn more about this lifesaving work here).
Undaunted by the title of the ‘fundraising event for women’ Boda and business relationships director Alistair McDonald set about obtaining a selection of women’s garments, assorted accessories and adornments. For several days prior, the two had giggled together like excited schoolgirls, discussing what they might wear and playfully teasing each other in scenes reminiscent of young ponies, dallying in the springtime.
At long last Friday had arrived! and struggling to contain their excitement, Boda and Alistair sauntered into the changing rooms ready for the big event!
The pair emerged some time later…
…Boda, sporting a distinctly athletic style had opted for a pink t-shirt, cheeky black tutu and leggings all of which adhered tightly to his ample frame. His outfit was completed with a sassy pink headband, which seemed to say ‘I’m ready for action’.
…Alistair decided to forgo leggings or tights in favour of the bare leg. His black printed dress was provocatively short, offset by a classy red scarf, hinting at ‘danger’. The ensemble was crowned with a jaunty straw hat, beneath which his black, curly hair hung vivaciously in pigtails.
As you will see from these disturbing images, the chaps joined in with residents and staff from Fabrick in the exercise boot camp and much fun and frivolity ensued! all in an excellent cause.
While these images may haunt your dreams for many months to come, please feel free to exorcize these demons by making a donation to the Bubble foundation Here.
