The last 12 months have also seen us develop plans for several new and exciting projects, which will bring about a host of innovative new services and opportunities for people with neurological conditions living in the North East of England.
Expanding on the success of our services in Gateshead, ‘The Gateway’ our new development in Middlesbrough, is set to transform ‘step forward’ and ‘step up’ service provision for people with long term neurological conditions, brain and spinal injuries in the Tees Valley and beyond.
The Gateway includes a new state of the art neurological rehabilitation and specialist care centre, a community health and wellbeing hub, a health club and a wide range of specialist transitional housing options.
Meanwhile, in Gateshead we are redeveloping our existing specialist rehabilitation services to include long term specialist care and new housing pathways to mirror the Gateway’s array of services.
