Keiro is the Japanese word for Pathway or Journey
Our vision for the company and it's partners is to provide an integrated 'Pathway' of support and rehabilitation services, from hospital to home.
The Keiro model involves a provision of socially focussed rehabilitation, to help people to regain their independence, followed by input from other organisations (charities and housing providers amongst others) who enable people to retain their independence.
Keiro's services cater for clients with a range of needs and conditions such as acquired brain and spinal injury, neurological conditions such as multiple sclerosis, motor neurone disease, Parkinson's disease, Huntingdon's Disease. The model enables clients to access anything from complex neuro rehabilitation, to nursing support and short breaks right through to a hot stone massage or a music festival!
