Guest Blog: A Day at the Gateway!

At Keiro we are always delighted to find out about the positive outcomes people experience as a result of using our services. The following testimonial is from Louise, whose daughter Chelsea recently visited the Gateway for the first time:

‘My daughter Chelsea has a learning disability and some mobility problems. It’s always been important for us as a family for Chelsea to be treated just as everyone else, and as she is getting older at 19, be afforded the same age appropriate opportunities and life experiences.

As the pool, Jacuzzi and steam room are purpose built for people with all levels of abilities, it meant Chelsea could access these and enjoy them, just as anyone else could. She finished off her ‘Girl’s Pamper Morning’ with her nails done at Cloud 9 which is within the Gateway then lunch in the cafe.

Chelsea is really sociable, and everyone at The Gateway was friendly and really accommodating but most importantly, treated her with respect. My daughter knows her own mind, and says exactly what she thinks – she loved her morning at The Gateway and is looking forward to coming back!’
